Start College in High School

Earn college credit and get ahead, learn how to navigate college courses with real professors and learn how to succeed in college while you are still in high school with UA Early College. Eligible high school students can enroll in UA Online courses or participate in the Summer On Campus experience.

Creating Equitable Access to Education

ACCESS provides equitable, quality learning opportunities for Alabama high school students in a digital distance format. It provides the full Alabama Course of Study plus electives to students with limited course selection, at-risk students pursuing credit recovery, accelerated students seeking advanced placement, students with disabilities or transportation problems, and students whose second language is English.

Get College Credit for Life Experiences

With New College LifeTrack, students have the opportunity to earn college credits for their life experiences. Students can take courses from wherever they are around their schedule, bringing a premier degree within their reach. It is the same baccalaureate degree earned by on-campus students with courses taught by the same faculty in a more flexible format.

Providing Top Notch, Accessible Online Courses

The Instructional Technology and Academic Services team provides instructional design, media production, training and technical support for UA Online’s degree programs. ITAS is dedicated to delivering high-quality, accessible online courses to UA Online students.
