U.S. News & World Report Again Ranks UA Online Among Best Online Programs

UA Online has again been recognized as one of the top online programs nationally and is the highest ranked program in the state of Alabama in the 2023 U.S. News & World Report Best Online Program Rankings.

U.S. News assessed over 1,800 online bachelor’s and master’s degree programs based on a variety of objective factors, such as student engagement, services and technologies, faculty credentials and training, student excellence and peer assessment.

UA Online earned 13 badges for high-ranking programs, four of which ranked in the top 5 nationwide: No. 1 in Master’s in Nursing for Veterans, No. 2 in Master’s in Nursing overall, No. 4 in Master’s in Nurse Practitioner – Family and No. 5 in Master’s in Business for Veterans. No other school in the state received more than one top 5 ranking.

“Our significant rise in rankings demonstrates the hard work and dedication of faculty members, program coordinators and the UA Online team in becoming the nation’s leader in online education,” said Dr. Robert Hayes, associate provost of the Office of Teaching Innovation and Digital Education, which houses UA Online.

In addition to the top 5 rankings, UA ranked No. 6 in Bachelor’s in Business and Master’s in Education for Veterans, No. 13 in Bachelor’s for Veterans, No. 14 in Master’s in Business (non-MBA) and Master’s in Nursing Administration, No. 20 in Master’s in Education and Master’s in Engineering for Veterans, and No. 25 for Online Bachelor’s (overall) and Master’s in Engineering.
